VOLUNTEER

The link between your team and the Club

Every Northmen program has a parent who keeps families and the Club talking. Team Representatives pass along Club news, pull together volunteers when an event needs hands, and bring their program’s needs back to the board. It is a small commitment that makes the rest of the Club work.

What a Rep handles

Reps are the first point of contact between a program’s families and the Club. Most of the job is passing things along: Club news, event dates, volunteer needs, and any question that needs a board answer.

Reps do not run practices, handle money, or make Club decisions. Anything like that goes straight to the board.

Meetings

Reps meet with the board on a set schedule through the season. Dates and times go out by email ahead of each meeting, and anyone who cannot make it gets the notes afterward.

Who to contact

WHAT A REP DOES

Three simple jobs

Coordinate Volunteers

Rally parents when the 5K, the cheer competition, or Pumpkin Festival needs hands.

Communicate Needs

Bring your team’s equipment, travel, and funding needs back to the board.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a Team Representative do?

Reps keep their program’s families and the Club connected. They pass along Club news and event dates, help line up volunteers when an event needs hands, and bring questions back to the board.

It varies by season and by program. Most of it is sharing information, with a bigger lift around the events that fund the Club, like the Great Pumpkin Festival and the Northmen 5K.

Reach out through the contact form or email the Club and we will connect you with the board member who runs your program.

Start with your program’s Rep. Anything they cannot answer goes to the board, and you can always reach the board directly from the Contact page.
